Product: 358 Anti-Climb Mesh Fence
Application: Building Security and Protection
Project Overview: In December 2024, our company received an inquiry from a client in Sydney, Australia, regarding a security upgrade project for the exterior of a residential building. They required 1 kilometer of 358 anti-climb mesh and accompanying installation technical support. The core requirement of this project was to prevent illegal climbing and intrusion through a combination of physical protection and intelligent monitoring, while also meeting the stringent requirements of the residential building for corrosion resistance, impact resistance, and aesthetics.
The project partner was a well-known local security engineering company in Australia. As the selected Asian supplier, we successfully secured the project due to our product's compliance with Australian Security Fencing Standard, a 30% shorter delivery time compared to European and American suppliers, and our cost-effective solutions. The total project value was AUD 160,000. The entire process, from contract signing to customs clearance and delivery, took 35 days. The project was successfully accepted by the Sydney client, and we became their recommended supplier for future security projects.)
Product Specifications
Mesh panel specifications: Mesh size 76.2mm × 12.7mm, wire diameter 4.0mm, panel dimensions 2.4m (height) × 3m (width)
Posts: 120mm × 120mm × 4.0mm square steel, spaced 3m apart.
Surface treatment: First hot-dip galvanizing (zinc layer thickness ≥ 85μm), followed by electrostatic powder coating (coating thickness ≥ 60μm), in a light gray color customized for the airport (RAL 7035). Suitable for Sydney's maritime climate, with salt spray corrosion resistance ≥ 1000 hours.
Included accessories: Stainless steel anti-theft bolts (M12×30), anti-tamper washers, and concrete foundation embedding kit.
Packaging:Custom-designed vertical trays maximize the use of container volume and reduce costs for customers.
Quality assurance and galvanizing inspection
During project execution, we strictly adhere to the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and have established a "three-stage inspection and verification" mechanism:
- Incoming Material Inspection (IQC): Imported low-carbon steel wire (material Q235B) is tested for tensile strength (≥345MPa) and elongation (≥22%). Non-conforming raw materials are returned directly to the supplier;
- In-Process Quality Control (IPQC): Automated robotic welding is used in the welding process. The number of weld points (≥3 points/m²) and weld point tensile strength (≥1500N) are sampled and inspected hourly to prevent incomplete or missing welds;
- Final Quality Control (FQC): Each batch of mesh panels undergoes inspection for dimensional deviation (≤±2mm), flatness (≤3mm/m), and surface defects. Only after passing these inspections can the panels proceed to the surface treatment stage.

Project Highlights
Considering Australia's specific requirements for construction standards, we proactively collaborated with a local installation team in Sydney, providing a "package service" that includes 3D installation drawings, video tutorials, and on-site technical supervision. For customs clearance, we prepared a complete set of fumigation certificates, material reports, and certificates of origin that comply with AQIS (Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service) requirements, preventing delays and improving customs clearance efficiency by 50%. By reducing labor costs through automated production and leveraging the advantages of large-scale procurement, our quotation is 12% lower than European suppliers, and we also offer a 5-year quality warranty (far exceeding the industry standard of 3 years).
Results and customer feedback
200 mesh panels were randomly sampled, and the pass rate for indicators such as dimensional deviation and zinc coating thickness was 100%;
“BONKFC's 358 anti-climb mesh not only fully meets and even exceeds Australian standards in terms of quality, but also delivers surprising results in terms of delivery time and service. Compared to European suppliers, their high cost-effectiveness creates significant cost value for our projects, and we have included them in our core supplier list for the next three years.”-Purchasing Manager
