一、Project Overview 

O.R. Tambo International Airport is Africa's leading aviation hub for passenger and cargo traffic. Its cargo area handles over 300,000 tons of international air cargo annually, including high-value electronic products, precision instruments, and cold chain fresh produce. It requires security fences with "unobstructed monitoring visibility, anti-climbing and anti-cutting capabilities, and weather and corrosion resistance," complying with South Africa's "SANS 10262-1:2020 Security Fencing Standard." The previous traditional diamond mesh fences exposed problems such as oversized meshes prone to climbing, 30% corrosion rate with single-layer galvanizing, and loose structure easy to collapse after 5 years of use. After multiple technical evaluations, the customer finally selected our customized Clear-View (358) fence solution.

二、Our Solution

Product Specifications Size: 2.90m×2m 

Material: Q235 low-carbon steel base material, treated with 480℃ hot-dip galvanizing (zinc layer thickness up to 120μm) + outer RAL 9005 black polyester powder coating (passing 2000-hour UV aging test) 

Structural details: 78mm×13mm ultra-dense mesh, 3.9mm wire diameter, each welding point bearing 500N load;

columns are 60mm×60mm×2.5mm

square posts Installation: Columns fixed by 1.2-meter deep concrete embedding, fence modules connected by splicing

三、Quality Assurance

To ensure the products meet the airport's high security requirements, we conduct comprehensive quality checks:Check the quality of Q235 low-carbon steel base material;Check the thickness and uniformity of hot-dip galvanizing layer (required to reach 120μm);Check the adhesion and thickness of the powder coating; Check the mesh size accuracy (78mm×13mm) and weld firmness (load-bearing ≥500N); Check the column impact resistance (required to reach 22kN). (Factory inspector checking fence, Fence panel protection treatment, Custom pallet loading, Crane lifting container, Container internal fixation)

High stability: Deep concrete embedded columns, resisting collision from 10-ton cargo vehicles without deformation; Efficient delivery: Completing customized production, cross-border transportation (from Tianjin Port, China to Durban Port, South Africa) and installation in 35 days.
