358 mesh fencing, also known as prison mesh fence, high security mesh fence, or anti-climb fencing, is one of the most secure welded mesh fencing systems in the world. The name "358" comes from its mesh size of 76.2mm x 12.7mm (3” × 0.5”) with 4.0mm wire thickness, which makes it extremely difficult to climb or cut with conventional tools.
It is widely chosen for prisons, airports, power stations, borders, and military bases, where maximum perimeter protection is required.
