358 mesh fencing, also known as prison mesh fence, high security mesh fence, or anti-climb fencing, is one of the most secure welded mesh fencing systems in the world. The name "358" comes from its mesh size of 76.2mm x 12.7mm (3” × 0.5”) with 4.0mm wire thickness, which makes it extremely difficult to climb or cut with conventional tools.
