A 3D mesh fence (also called curved mesh fence, V-fold fence, or Euro fence panel) is a rigid welded wire mesh panel that has been cold-bent at regular intervals to form V-shaped or W-shaped channels running horizontally across the panel face. The bending is applied after welding on a dedicated press-brake or roll-forming machine; the welds are not disturbed by the forming process.
The structural benefit works by the same principle as a corrugated cardboard sheet: a flat sheet deflects easily under lateral load, but a corrugated sheet of the same material and weight resists deflection dramatically better. For a fence panel, this means:
• Greater rigidity at the same wire diameter — a 3D panel in 4 mm wire matches the stiffness of a flat panel in 5 mm wire, at lower material cost per linear metre
• Wider post spacing without panel sag — standard bay spacing of 2.5 m to 3.0 m is achievable with 3D panels; flat mesh typically requires 2.0 m centres for comparable stiffness
• Improved impact resistance — the bend geometry absorbs lateral impact (footballs, vehicle brush contact, wind gusts) and recovers, rather than permanently deforming
• Anti-climb advantage — the V-fold profile breaks up flat footholds and makes the panel surface less predictable to climb than a flat mesh of the same aperture
The number of V-folds on a panel is determined by panel height: shorter panels have 2 folds; taller panels have 3 or 4 folds. This is detailed in the specification section below.

All BONKFC 3D mesh fence panels undergo a multi-stage surface treatment process. The sequence — sandblasting → nanoceramic degreasing → HDG or powder coat application — ensures maximum adhesion and corrosion resistance. Three finishes are available:
• Process: panels are immersed in a molten zinc bath at 450°C; zinc bonds metallurgically to the steel surface
• Zinc deposition: ≥ 200 g/m² (compliant with BS EN ISO 1461:2009 for fabricated steel articles)
• Corrosion resistance: ≥ 1,000 hours salt-spray without red rust (ISO 9227 baseline)
• Colour: natural galvanized silver-grey (non-standard colours not available with HDG only)
• Recommended for: rural agricultural projects, temporary perimeters, cost-sensitive infrastructure
• Base coat: HDG as above (≥ 200 g/m² zinc)
• Pre-treatment before powder coat: nanoceramic degreasing (replaces traditional phosphating — better adhesion, lower environmental impact)
• Powder: AkzoNobel Interpon D1010 polyester; applied by 32 ITW GEMA automatic electrostatic guns
• Coating thickness: ≥ 120 microns (double-sided); verified by magnetic thickness gauge on each production batch
• Curing: 200°C oven cure for 20 minutes; cross-cut adhesion test (ISO 2409) on every production run

Every production run is subject to eight inspection checkpoints. BONKFC maintains inspection records for all export orders; documentation is available for customer review on request. Third-party inspection by SGS or CCIC is accepted and can be arranged by the customer.
BRC fence (also called square mesh fence or Bekaert-style fence) is a flat welded mesh panel — it has no bends. It is a reliable, lower-cost option for light perimeter work. A 3D mesh fence has V-shaped bends pressed into the panel after welding; this makes it significantly stiffer, more impact-resistant, and better-looking than flat BRC mesh of the same wire diameter. 3D mesh also allows wider post spacing (up to 3.0 m) compared to BRC (typically 2.0 m), which can offset some of the higher panel cost. If appearance and rigidity matter for your project, 3D mesh is the better choice; if you are on a tight budget and purely need a functional boundary, BRC is a reasonable alternative.
The number of V-folds is determined by panel height: 2 folds for heights from 630 mm to 1430 mm; 3 folds for 1530 mm to 1930 mm; 4 folds for 2030 mm to 2430 mm. The fold count is fixed per height range and cannot be customised independently. The folds are evenly spaced across the panel height. If you need a specific fold depth or geometry for a design reason, contact us to discuss; we occasionally accommodate custom fold profiles for large orders.
Yes. We supply sample panels in any specification — standard size is 1000 mm × 1000 mm (cut from production panels), or we can produce a full-size sample panel on request. Sample cost is USD 60–120 per panel depending on specification. This cost is credited against your first bulk order of 500 LM or above. Sample lead time is 7–10 working days. For projects above USD 30,000 in estimated value we will arrange samples at no charge.
BONKFC provides a 5-year warranty on coating adhesion and corrosion resistance under normal outdoor exposure conditions, measured from the date of shipment. The warranty covers: red rust breakthrough on coating surface; coating delamination greater than 5 mm from any point; zinc depletion below 100 g/m² on HDG sections. The warranty does not cover damage from chemical exposure, accidental impact, unauthorized modification, or installation in environments outside the specification (e.g., applying an inland-rated panel in a direct coastal salt environment without upgrading the coating). All warranty claims require submission of installation records and photographic evidence.
Yes. We regularly work with SGS, Bureau Veritas (BV), CCIC, and TUV. You can arrange your own inspector or we can refer you to a local inspection agent. We request 48 hours advance notice before the inspection visit to prepare documentation and make panels accessible in the warehouse. Inspection costs are paid by the customer unless agreed otherwise. Our QC team will be available on-site throughout the inspection to answer technical questions.

Yes. BONKFC manufactures or sources all components of a complete 3D mesh fence system: panels, posts (all types), clamps and fixings, post caps, concrete anchor baseplates, pedestrian swing gates, double vehicle gates, sliding gates, and barbed wire or razor wire toppers. We prepare a complete bill of materials (BOM) for your confirmed fence layout and pack all items for the same shipment. This avoids the common problem of missing or mismatched accessories on site. Please provide your fence layout drawing or linear metre quantities per section when requesting a full-system quotation.

Final Inspection: Coating thickness, color uniformity, and packing integrity checked before shipment. Third-party inspections (SGS, CCIC) are also accepted.
